Sept. 27 is Smithsonian Magazine’s tenth annual Museum Day Live!

A nationwide event, Museum Day Live! offers free admission to visitors presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket at a participating museum or cultural institution. Inclusive by design, the event represents Smithsonian's commitment to making learning and the spreading of knowledge accessible to everyone, giving museums across all 50 states the opportunity to emulate the admission policy of the Smithsonian museums in Washington D.C. Last year's event drew over 400,000 participants, and this year's event expects record-high participation.

The Museum Day Live! Ticket provides free admission for two people. To receive your free Museum Day Live! ticket for two people only, please register for an account. Once registered, you can request a ticket to one participating venue. The ticket will be available to download immediately up to the date of the event. You must print your ticket and present it to receive your free admission or have it accessible on your mobile device (pending museum participation). Info: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday
